Something told me you were on-ly playing, with my heart for fun The words I heard you say today, they left me kinda glum It's like you never really cared at all How can it be? Tragedy Remember me, the guy that used to care Tonight I saw you at the party door, with some other guy. I think of every other time before, before you said goodbye My love was wasted from the start It never should have felt so good Remember me, the guy who used to care All those little things we did All those happy songs we'd sing together Now you only call me quits I felt the pain, my heart has changed Remember me, the guy who used to care All those happy songs we'd sing How can it be it's a tragedy Remember me I'm the guy who used to All those little we did How can it be it's a tragedy Remember me, I'm the guy that used to care the guy that used to care

I used to think that it was broken and blue, well that’s over Even then, the summertime sun felt colder Thinking how it was never again, well that’s older Told myself no one could ever get closer I see it clearer than water You whisper sharper and bolder Are we gonna dream higher Now I know that’s over When fate comes a knocking on my door I don’t want to peek through the window no more I’m counting my steps across your floor Now it’s over I think I was just broken and blue The summertime’s gone but now I’ve got you I’m never gonna be lonely again it’s over

about

The first single from the second album! After their 2015 big-bang formation and meteoric 2016 first album, the Jangle Band are back with 2 brand new crackin' tunes!

The brilliant Perth, Australia, band is back with a limited CD single! The band formed by legendary Australian musicians like Ian Freeman, Jeff Baker, Joe Algeri, Dave Wallace and Mark Eaton, is sharing with us “The Guy Who Used to Care” and “Now That’s Over” which I’m hoping are a teaser of a second album to be released in the near future (?). I hope that’s the case, but if not, it doesn’t matter, these are superb songs to have on repeat.

Loro stessi, al tempo dell’esordio del 2016, il delizioso “Edge Of A Dream”, si definivano un incrocio tra Byrds, Kinks e The Triffids. Pretenziosi? Ma neanche per idea. Quel disco era un gioiello melodico, da mandare a memoria già al primo ascolto e vi assicuriamo che quei paragoni ci stanno benissimo.

Ora The Jangle Band torna in pista.
